Most excellent tea - this
is my 2nd order!
--Mike C.

The tea works great, don't
know how but it does. When I went off the tea for a few
days the symptoms on my left side came back. I took the
tea again and symptoms went away. So what if I have to
drink it daily. Symptoms are gone, I am HAPPY.
--John F.

My wife suffered from
diverticulitis pain. She also no longer suffers from any
of these problems. To make long story short, we will
never stop drinking your tea.

I was just diagnosed with
diverticulosis today, after getting over a painful case
of diverticulitis. I'm looking forward to the recipes
and tea. I've already tried one of the posted recipes on
your websites...it was very good.

My wife and I both have
experienced terrific results from drinking the
Diverticulitis Tea. In one week, my wife's pain began
getting more tolerable and now three weeks later, the
pain is nearly gone.

effects of each herb:
Egyptian Chamomile
Benefits:
Anti Inflammatory, Carminative
Often
referred to as the "Great Soother, Chamomile's
anti-inflammatory, antispasmodic, and infection-fighting effects
can benefit the whole body -- inside and out. When taken
internally, it calms digestive upsets, relieves cramping, and
relaxes the nerves. The finest varieties of Chamomile continue
to come from Egypt and that is precisely the blend that we use
in our Signature Blend. If you have yet to try it, you'll be
pleasantly surprised by its superior flavor.

An infusion of herbs with anti-inflammatory and soothing
properties, such as
Wild yam
(Dioscorea villosa),
German chamomile (Matricaria recutita),
Marsh mallow
(Althaea officinalis), and calamus (Acorus calamus, or
sweet flag) may be helpful in treating the inflammation of
diverticulitis. Ginger (Zingiber officinale) can also be
helpful in relieving gastrointestinal gas that may be
symptomatic of the disorder.

Marshmallow Leaves
Benefits:
Demulcent
Marshmallow
root derives its botanical name from the Greek word "altho",
which means to heal. The sweet, cool root of
Marshmallow makes it an excellent demulcent and primarily been
used as a traditional herbal soothing agent for conditions of
the digestive tract.
Peppermint
Benefits:
Anti-spasmodic
A
native of the Mediterranean, peppermint is revered for its refreshingly light aroma, as well as its
natural, caffeine-free taste. Peppermint specifically helps
relax the intestinal tract thereby relieving cramping and
griping. If you have yet to try peppermint tea,
you'll be pleasantly surprised by its superior flavor.

Peppermint is employed in the treatment of various
digestive ailments, such as irritable bowel syndrome, Crohn's disease , diverticulitis, liver and gallbladder
complaints, loss of appetite, spastic colon, diarrhea,
gas, bloating, colic, cramps, and heartburn. The infused
herb tea of peppermint or a few drops of its essential oil
stimulate the flow of digestive juices and the production
of bile, a substance that helps to digest fats. This eases
indigestion, relieves gas, reduces colon spasms, and eases
motion sickness and nausea.

Wild Yam
Benefits:
Anti Inflammatory
Wild
yam contains substances called alkaloids, which are muscle
relaxants that especially target muscles in the abdomen and
pelvis. This action suggests that wild yam may be of particular
value for digestive disorders, such as
diverticulitis, Crohn's disease, and irritable bowel
syndrome.
