| Heat a large skillet over moderate heat for 5 - 7 minutes. Sauté the shallot and garlic with olive oil, stirring frequently. Add the potatoes until tender (about 7 minutes). Add
the zucchini, green beans, and basil. Continue sautéing, stirring occasionally, until all the vegetables tender. Season to taste with salt, pepper and lemon juice. |
| While the vegetables are cooking, cook pasta according to package directions. Drain well. |
| Immediately place the sautéed vegetables with all their juices in a large shallow pasta bowl. Add the linguine and butter, toss to mix well and serve immediately. Add parmesan at the table. |
